Visual aids are those instructional aids which are utilized in the classroom to encourage students learning process.
Pros of Audio Visual Aids:
•Helps Students understand audio-visual aids in teaching is the fact that they help students to understand what is being explained. Many students have a hard time visualizing what the teacher is attempting to clarify to them and audio-visual aids make this much easier.
•Engages Students in the Audio-visual aids a students can easily engaged and therefore interested in what they are learning. Many of the concepts and ideas instructed in class is displayed in one form or another.
Cons of Audio Visual Aids:
•Can be a Distraction leaving a video on in the classroom and not getting the students to do anything with the video is asking for trouble. Many students are inclined to go to sleep, especially if the lights are off and the teacher cannot see their students that well.

•Death by Presentation the risk of mistreatment too many audio-visual aids is that you remove time for active learning. Whilst the teacher standing at the front of the classroom and presenting for the complete lesson can fill up the training time, it is most undoubtedly not the most effective use of time.
